Is Tramadol a narcotic?

12.16.2017 | Jessica MacAdam

Yes and No. The DEA and FDA don't think that Tramadol's potential for abuse is high enough to make it a narcotic. But its qualities are.

Lyrica is an outstanding drug for aiding in the relief of chronic pain. Good luck. I take lyrica and tramadol both. The sideeffects are mild depending on the dose and it doesn’t seem to be addictive. You are right.

Tramadol is not addicting.

I have been taking Tramadol for a few years now due to severe sciatica and other health probs – the only thing addictive about it is if I don’t take it, I have pain. If I take a whole pill, it wires me to no end, but it CERTAINLY does not have the affect (at least on me) as, say, Lortab or something else in that range.
