In 1990 I started having tremendous pain on the right side of my stomach. I also started seeing a psychologist. After many tests I was sent to a gastrointestinal specialist and I was told I had IBS. I attended a 12-week seminar training on handling the attacks. In 1995 I started having problems again, started back on Bentyl and was diagnosed with panic attacks. After that I really didn't have much in the way of problems with attacks and when I did, I knew how to calm myself down (basically meditate).
