Do your homework, open your eyes and realize people are dying every day due to the chemicals the government is putting in these pills. Chemical free people. Din't be afraid to research anything you are against, you just might surprise yourself. i agree with doobie I think everyone with any medical condition should stay the hell away from all these damn chemicals the doctors are so happy to shove down everyones throat and smoke a fatty. Wake up and realize that marijuana has relieved every known symptom out there.
I've only started taking it a couple nights ago, but want to know if it takes awhile for your body to adjust to it for it to work. I wake up several times throughout the night. . my other friends who do take ambien.
And smoking Marijuana drastically increases risk of heart disease, hence ingestion is a better form.

Thank you for all the information. I did try lunesta about 3 years ago, and it worked pretty well the one night I tried it. Ok. I am going to try sleepy tea and melatonin again before I go on a trial and error with any more prescribed western medicine. The ambien was given to me by a friend to find out if it would work since my insomnia has esculated quite a lot lay. Melatonin use to work, but it didn't the last few times I tried it. Apparently it is not a med for me, however I tend to lean more towards the more natural approach.
:). I take Ambien and Seroquel and still have a hard time sleeping. Everyone is different. I wouldn't take anyone elses sleeping pills though. Just be careful. Although I did like that Lunesta worked faster. I used to take Lunesta and then it stopped working for me. Every once in a while it stops working and then all of a sudden it works again. Switched to Ambien and switched back and forth a couple times. Ambien was the only one to keep me asleep for more than 4 hours so we stuck with that. (not to sound like a mom or anything) I gave one of mine to my mom and it caused her to throw up in her sleep.
you can take either one or both of these along with the melatonin. another couple natural supplements i reccommend for sleep are: valerian and kava kava.
And it most definiy has not cured every symptom out there, it can make mental illness worse. However if treated properly with the lowered THC and the heightened CBD it can have positive effects on a number of things. I know not of mental illness.
Quieting my mind down is my issue. I have been taking 5-10 mg of Ambien for 12 years now almost daily and I have never needed more and it works the same every day. The only difference for me between 5 and 10 mg is an hour of sleep. I have never had side effects and I am a university professor, need to wake up and get to class and have it together. I love knowing I can fall asleep. Is there anyone out there that swears by CR?. I average 3 hours of deep sleep with 5 mg and four hours with 10 mg. When I wake up in about hours, I can fall back to sleep. Ha. I have not really tried CR. So, I figure I get my deep sleep out of the Ambien and my rem sleep out of the later hours.

It doesn't know the difference on a cellular level.it's reacting to chemical chains of THC and other molecules. Arsenic is natural, but it's a chemical compound. You do know even if it's natural your body is still reacting to chemicals.
My friend has tried countless prescription medication for sleeping, and has negative sentiments toward ambien in particular, and only uses kush now. it is known that the best medicine for sleepless nights is an indica dominant marijuana strain (kush). Plus you'll have a lot more fun, and i personally feel more comfortable using organic medicine. It is anxiety and insomnia treatment in one, and side effect free if ingested, not inhaled. Only if it's legal, medical, or decriminalized in your state of course.

most people find each individually effective also. Lunesta is just like ambien. I have had many experiences with the drug and have friends who have had results like mine as well. Hope this info helps!. I've tried probably every sleeping med and i can give you a few that I've found very effective. However, if it does not work for you the first night or first few nghts, then it definiy will not prove to be helpful for you. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. another suggestion would be restoril. i know several people who have experienced good outcomes with it, although i personally didnt like it. I had to work up to very high doses of both though. Absoluy not. The most beneficial yet have been the combination of clonIDINE (not klonopin) and trazodone. Ambien and Ambien CR usually only work for most people an average of 10 days in a row because a tolerance is quickly built up.
