Since my body is used to 10 mg. I would take Ambien Cr (12.5) and a month or 2 later it would stop working on me and I would take more. Same thing with ambien. Since I can not sleep with only 5 mg. yes, I been back and forth with Ambien. I just take 2 of them. I am waiting for the 17th before I can fill the ambien cr which seems to work for me. I was on 10 mg and the Doctor reduced it to 5mg for some odd reason.
If one takes Ambien over an extended period of time will they build up a tolerance making the drug less effective?
